Terry Shiavo - Should She Live or Should She Be Let to Die?

The Terri Shiavo Story is one of total sadness.
here is the latest...

Florida Judge Extends Stay in Terri Schiavo Case
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=aNJMflkMyUcI

This poor woman has been laying around, with the inability to communicate for what, 15 years?

15 Years of not being able to go to the bathroom on her own?

15 Years of not being able to eat on her own?

Those who are campaigning for her to stay alive, would they be willing to spend the rest of their lives in this state of life? Or would they wish they could reach for their guns and blow their brains out?

Terry Shiavo should have the right to life and her parents should have the last say if they want to pay for her care

We wouldn't let an animal suffer as long as this poor woman has. Give her peace.

I have been following this story
The Parents Love her and want her to stay alive
The husgand wants the insurance money if she dies
They never really took the time to find out what really happen to this women
I think its a hard decision but I take care of my mom almost 21 years and I dont feel it a burden she gave me LIFE and I think shes at home ,not in a place where they can abuse her
I think from the videos I did see she responds to her mom and even smiles
She never got the rehap she could of got years ago
Jeff Bush let her stay alive
For a bush that is strange some one with a heart LOL

The headline of this thread, "Forced to Live" vs.
"Let to Die," is misleading. This case is not at all what it appears on the surface. Based on the material I've seen on Rense.com, Terry is able to express her emotions. She responds warmly to her mother, but is terrified of her husband, who has not allowed her access to rehab. He wants her out of the way so he can marry his girlfriend, and he could be the one who abused her to the point of brain damage in the first place. If I were Terry, I would want to live at least long enough to see that man put behind bars where he belongs.

Oh Yeah. It's always the big bad evil husband to blame. How exactly do you "abuse someone into brain damage"? If I call you nasty names long enough, does that alter your physiology? In this day and age there is no excuse for a battered woman to stay with a abusive man. It real easy for everyone to take her family's word and make the man into a monster.

How do you know she wasn't a crappy wife? Or a psycho?

Two sides to every story.

Why is it against the law to starve an animal and ok to starve a human being?
Are they saying her life is less meaningful than a dogs or cats?
And why can't the husband just give her back to her parents if he doesn't want to be responsiable for her? I think he's worried she'll wake up and tell what really happened to her, and he might be the reason she's like she is.
Either way if she has to die, there has to be a better way than starving her, prisoners that are put to death are even treated better than that.
If they let her starve they are murders in my book, and I hope her husband's concious keeps him awake and bothers him from now on,(if he has one).
